Anabelle Mirfatahi
Anabelle (she/her) lives and works on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples, the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Anabelle joined Stand in November 2023 as a digital campaigner on the forests team. Prior to joining Stand, she was the terrestrial conservation and engagement coordinator for CPAWS-BC. She also previously worked in communications at the national office of CPAWS and the Georgia Strait Alliance. She received a Bachelor of Communications from Simon Fraser University and her love for the outdoors and protecting nature has driven her passion in working with environmental nonprofits. She’s pursuing a career in environmental communications to help empower diverse voices and create change toward global environmental issues. Outside of the office Anabelle is an avid rock climber, aspiring runner, and professional beach lounger.
