Digital Campaigner, Canada

Before joining STAND.earth, Anna was an Engagement Manager at Environmental Defence, a Digital Campaigner with the Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC), and the Communications Coordinator for the Worker Solidarity Network (WSN). Her digital campaigning experience stems from years of grassroots organizing in Alberta and BC to resist colonial and environmental violence. Her activism has focused primarily on resisting the reckless expansion of the Alberta tar sands, acting in solidarity with First Nations upholding their Title and Rights, fighting for climate justice, and advocating for improvements to labour rights legislation. Born and raised in central Alberta, she’s lived and organized in Calgary (Treaty 7 Territory), Edmonton (Treaty 6 Territory), Victoria (Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ Territories) and Toronto (Treaty 13 and the Williams Treaties). Anna joined STAND.earth in 2023, where she develops innovative digital tactics and strategies to ensure a climate-safe future for all.

While away from work, Anna can be found exploring the great outdoors, attempting disc golf, or enjoying a new book.
