Hannah Saggau
Hannah is a Senior Climate Finance Campaigner at Stand.earth. She works with the Climate Finance team to move money away from fossil fuels and towards climate justice.
Before joining Stand, Hannah led Public Citizen’s campaign pressuring AIG insurance to stop insuring fossil fuels and respect human rights. The campaign successfully pushed AIG to adopt its first fossil fuel exclusion policies in 2022, including restrictions on support for coal, tar sands, and Arctic drilling. Prior to this, Hannah worked alongside campesino and Indigenous communities in rural Ecuador defending their rights and the rights of nature against extractive industries.
In her free time, you’ll most likely find Hannah outside rock climbing, skiing, or hiking where she lives on Ute lands in western Colorado.
