Lays Ushirobira
Lays is a Latin American feminist journalist with over 10 years of experience in communications for development. Working at the intersection of movement building and advocacy campaigns, she is committed to advance decolonial visions of climate justice and economic justice. Passionate about hearing and telling stories that inspire systemic change, she has worked with non-governmental and civil society organisations mobilising a wide range of audiences for quality public education, tax justice and socio-environmental rights. She holds Master’s degrees in International Institutional Communications (CELSA Paris-Sorbonne) and in Development Studies (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
