Rachel Kitchin
Rachel got her start in the worlds of justice and corporate campaigning as a campaigner for disability rights for a major sight loss charity in the UK. After making the big move across the pond to Toronto, Canada in 2017, she began pursuing her passion for the environment, both by exploring the beautiful lakes and forests in a canoe, and by joining Environmental Defence Canada as a Digital Engagement Manager. In her years with Environmental Defence, she campaigned to end plastic pollution, protect the Great Lakes, and stand against massive environmental cutbacks in Ontario while working with a huge array of local activists and communities across the province.
In her spare time Rachel likes to take it all offline, enjoying canoe trips, cycling and anything DIY – especially her passion for making her own clothes.
