Sharon Rose

Sharon worked at Stand.earth as Development Associate from 2008 to 2011, and returned in 2021, after gaining specialized experience in mid-level and major gift development, event planning, project management, and strategic planning. In her current role as Associate Director of Donor Engagement, she builds the Stand.earth community of supporters who invest in bold, transformative, and sustainable change. Sharon has held roles including Program Manager, Evaluation Officer, and Development & Outreach Officer for a variety of global health initiatives.

She holds a Master of Public Health from San Francisco State University, and a B.A. in Political Sciences and Latin American Studies from Barnard College. Born and raised in New Jersey, Sharon moved to California in 2005 so that she could learn to surf.
