Vojtech Sedlak

Vojtech joined Stand.earth in October 2020 after years of building cutting-edge digital activism tools at organizations such as OpenMedia, the Mozilla Foundation and, most recently, SumOfUs, where he focused on leveraging advanced data science techniques to maximize the impact of corporate responsibility campaigns. With a keen focus on data-driven innovation, Vojtech thrives at the intersection of data, technology and storytelling, and is always thinking about how to leverage latest digital tools to advance key environmental campaigns. Originally from the Czech Republic, Vojtech moved to the West Coast of Canada, where he attained a B.A. in Communication Studies from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He now lives in Victoria, BC.

When away from a computer, Vojtech is either spending time with his family, baking, getting lost in the West Coast woods (on foot or on a bike), or reading, all the while trying to decide whether he is worried or excited about the future of our increasingly connected lives.
