On September 17, 2022, almost 100 yoga practitioners took part in a “Yoga for Coal-Free Fashion” yoga protest outside lululemon’s Vancouver headquarters.

The event was a great success – a beautiful gathering of people, united in movement and purpose, bringing the message home that lululemon must publicly commit to quitting coal and going renewable by 2030. They sang, moved, breathed, and connected to a shared purpose.

The event followed the publication of a letter to lululemon signed by over 500 yoga teachers and 1,000 yoga students demanding the athleisure brand quit coal and go renewable by 2030, which was reported in The Guardian.
