Advisory: Growing chorus demands federal government release true cost of building the Trans Mountain Pipeline

Groups to hold press conference at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, at UBCIC in Vancouver

What: The federal government continues to hide the true cost of building the Trans Mountain pipeline despite Canadian taxpayers being on the hook for the multi-billion amount and a construction delay of almost two years.

Groups will provide information and analysis showing the steadily rising cost of construction.

Groups are also launching today a petition calling on the Prime Minister and Finance Minister to keep their promise and publish an updated cost estimate for TMX.
