Toxics in the US and the next 40 years: What will it take to protect public health?
The US has had 40 years under a flawed Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), leaving us with a backlog of poisonous chemicals in consumer products. As of 2016 we have a newly reformed TSCA grinding into gear, and activists will continue the push for safer chemical alternatives with state and markets campaigns.
