Aneri Garg
Aneri is a marine scientist, science communicator, artist, and community organizer based in Huu-ay-aht First Nations Territory on the West coast of Vancouver Island.
Working at the intersections of marine ecology, science storytelling, media production, and early career ocean professional’s advocacy, she is committed to advancing equity and justice in the ocean sector. Aneri holds a MSc in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Alberta, and a Certificate in Inclusive Facilitation from Bakau Consulting.
She loves to read, teach yoga, spend time in and on the water with her puppy, bake sweet treats, weave, and forage for mushrooms.
